When I first got my Glidecam, one of the first things on my mind was how am I going to store and transport this thing. I knew about Pelican cases, but that was a bit out of my budget. I did some searching around and found a cheaper solution, the Zeikos ZE-HC36 Deluxe Medium Hard Shell Case. While it is not waterproof, and I wouldn’t throw or sit on the case, it provides good protecting for a reasonable price tag of $40. The images below show how I organized the Glidecam in the case. I had to overlap some parts to make everything fit, but with this configuration, no parts are touching each other.
